Two Faculty Members Among the Top 1% Most Cited Researchers Worldwide

According to the public relations office of University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran, and based on the report from the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), two faculty members of University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran have been listed among the top 1% most cited researchers worldwide in 2024.
According to this report, based on citations in 2023, Dr. Alireza Zekariazadeh in the field of Electrical Engineering and Dr. Shirin Chenarani in the field of Physics are among the 1056 Iranian scientists listed as the top 1% most cited researchers in the Islamic World Science Citation Database. It is worth noting that according to the latest update from this institution, published in November 2024 the number of top 1% most cited researchers worldwide affiliated with universities and higher education institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran has increased by 12% compared to last year, reaching 1056 individuals.
